Conrad Elvehjem Early Learning Center... WE INSPIRE SUCCESS!

Welcome to the C.E. Early Learning Center!
Realizing parents are their child's first teacher, we appreciate what you have accomplished to prepare your child for their first formal experience in the McFarland School District. Whether your child is enrolling in the Early Childhood program, Just Five program or Kindergarten program, we welcome you and your child and will provide educational experiences, curriculum, and instruction to allow your child to experience ongoing success while at the same time challenge them to reach their potential.
As the proverb "it takes a whole village to raise a child" states, we anticipate an active partnership with parents and families to help us accomplish our district mission and campus vision to optimize the educational benefits for young children in the areas of academics and non-academics along with social/emotional development. Together, we can help continue to build and expand upon the learning foundation you have addressed so well prior to enrolling your child in our schools.
Each child is a unique individual and it's that individualism that we will focus on as we support your child as they begin their educational career at the C.E. Early Learning Center. This will be the start of a wonderful journey, a journey that we will enjoy and appreciate together as we witness and support the growth of each child from one year to the next.
A primary reason for parents making the decision to have their children attend C.E. Early Learning Center is due to its reputation of commitment to excellence; creating a learning environment composed of student pride-care-compassion, professionalism, and the ability of staff to support student success regardless of the unique educational profile each and every child brings to the learning environment.
A strategy to address the developmental needs of the "whole child", students are provided opportunities to engage in both core curriculum and other academic experiences including related arts, enrichment programs, special services, and integrated technology all which support and enhance student learning.
Parents can be assured school staff engage in ongoing professional development. Students are supported by staff we consider to be highly qualified, committed to the sucess of all students, and committed to establishing meaningful relationships with students and their families. Implementing what are considered to be "best practices" for teaching and learning is an expectation of staff, students and families at CEELC.
Student support and student success is anchored in the high expectations established for families and staff; the expectation of having all students experience high quality achievement; providing an environment of support--challenges--respect; and holding ourselves accountable in all we do. As young children continue along their educational career, their experiences and success at CEELC compliment their education journey through the K-12 McFarland School District.
