A Learning Community that is small enough to know you and your child, and big enough to provide enriched and extended learning and co-curricular offerings

Welcome to Waubesa Intermediate School's website!

Our school is home to about 475 students in Grades 3 – 5. We take pride in our school and pride in our student body. Each and every day we strive to build a community of learners who are respected for their individuality and challenged to reach their potential. The staff creates an environment in which students grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Through the development of skills for problem solving and opportunities to think creatively, we strive to develop lifelong learners.

Waubesa School is designed in 3 pods, one for each grade level. Teachers within each grade plan for the diverse needs of our students, and they share resources and ideas to develop strategies for the success of all students. In addition to a strong core academic curriculum, students participate in a wide range of related arts classes that foster creativity and growth in each child. All classes use technology to enhance the learning and increase engagement of our students.

We invite you to actively participate in the school community and in the education of our children. We are dedicated to creating a strong home-school-community partnership to meet our children’s needs. We look forward to another great school year with the students and you!

Respectfully,

Sue Murphy
