Thanks for your interest in the Social Studies Department! I have been teaching Social Studies since 1998, and  have been teaching at MHS since 2014.  I grew up in McFarland, and am a 1991 Graduate of MHS- I'm excited to be a Spartan again! I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  I am excited to be teaching US History, Global Diversity, World Geography and Sociology here at McFarland and working with my students to challenge their learning and thinking of the world around them. 

In addition to my teaching, I am the National Honor Society Advisor, and help to run an International Travel Program where we take our students on trips overseas to see and visit the places they are learning about in their history books!  (My profile pic is at Bunratty Castle in Ireland!) In my "spare" time, I am an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at Edgewood College, the mother of a seventh grade daughter, and a professional Soccer Mom.
