Tod Lacey

In the summer of 2017 I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in Zhiajajong China teaching English to middle school students in an English immersion program. Here I am learning how to write some classic Chinese characters, thanks to a student of mine.

Tod Lacey has been teaching at McFarland High School since 1987.  He has taught such English courses as Shakespeare, Film Theory, Advanced Grammar, American Novels, Composition, and Creative Writing.  

He also has coached boys' and girls' tennis at the high school since 1992.  

During the summer he helps organize the Bicycling Wisconsin program that takes middle and high school students on day trips across the area's may state bike trails including the Sugar River Trail, Military Ridge Trail, and the new extension of the Lower Yahara Trail that connects McFarland to the Capital City Trail.
