Welcome to sixth grade!  My McFarland School District career started in 1993 when I was fortunate to have the opportunity to complete my UW-Stevens Point degree with a student teaching placement in McFarland.  I student taught in both second grade and sixth grade and was pleasantly surprised to learn how much I enjoyed the quirkiness and charm of middle school students. After student teaching, I accepted my first job in Portage, however had a chance to apply in McFarland prior to starting and knew where I wanted to be. I have been teaching sixth graders at IMMS ever since 1993 and am honored to be a part of such a great team, school, and community. 

When I am not guiding sixth graders in their learning and love of math and science, I can be found spending time with family and friends. My husband and I enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, reading in coffee shops, and keeping an eye on our teenage son.
