If your student will be missing ALL or PART of a school day for any reason, please use one of the following reporting options:
- Enter an Absence Request via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal and select "More" then "Absence Requests". Full instructions here..
If you have a medical note, you are able to upload it to your absence request at the time you enter it. If you need to submit it at a later date/time, please email it to your school’s attendance email shown in option #2.
- Send an email to MHSattendance@mcfsd.org
Please include your child’s first and last name, the reason for the absence, late arrival and/or early pick up plans, along with name of your child’s homeroom teacher.
- Leave a voicemail on the attendance line at 608-838-4657.

Greetings and Welcome to McFarland High School!
At MHS we proudly serve approximately 780 students in grade 9-12. We pride ourselves on our student-centered work as we aim to support each student and family throughout their high school years.
